The Busy Bees are a group of
women who gather together to share
their talents to reach out to our community thorough community service.
We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m. (in the lounge, across from the church office.) All are invited!
Here are a few of the projects we have completed:
Cards for shut-ins ins, lap robes for Vets, bags for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), prayer booklets for those who are in hospice, which were delivered to the Hospice House in Omaha. We made over 300 hats for Methodist Hospital newborns and Christmas stockings for the NE Med Center newborn babies and kids. We made cards for Vets and Christmas cards. We sewed bags for UMCOR - Health Kits for Haiti. We've had a great time getting together and working on these community service projects.
Thank you to all of you
for your help and cooperation!
